It was an ambitious vision that many thought impossible—but it worked. Their commitment to quality and service quickly gained traction in the market.

A pivotal moment came through a chance encounter with a national mattress buyer, which led to an introduction to the Captain Snooze retail group. This connection sparked the creation of a bespoke mattress, the Captain’s Mate, developed exclusively for the retailer. The product’s success was immediate and profound—cementing Select-O-Pedic's reputation and setting the stage for ongoing innovation in mattress design, driven by a simple but powerful goal: to provide better sleep for a better life.
